Michał Sawaniuk
(1938 – 2003)
Artist, painter, and educator.
Connected since his youth with the city of Olsztyn and its artistic community.
His body of work includes twenty-five solo exhibitions and participation in thirty-two group exhibitions held both in Poland and abroad, including Kaliningrad (1968), Copenhagen (1976), a touring exhibition in Great Britain (1977-79), Düsseldorf (1978), Hamburg (1979 - solo), Heide (1986), and Offenburg (1997).
He also participated in the 1993 Polish-French creative workshops, which concluded with an exhibition at the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (ZPAP) in Olsztyn.
